Getting started
To get started, join the waitlist at chairshare.aidaptive.com.au/apply. We’ll contact you when a chair at your preferred location becomes available. Once approved, you’ll receive an invitation email with a link to create your account.
After signing up, you’ll complete a short onboarding flow: set your display name, your unique booking link (e.g. dr-amy-nguyen), and connect your Stripe account for payouts. The whole process takes about five minutes.
How chair leasing works
ChairShare charges a flat daily chair rent — no commission split, no percentage of your takings. You pay for the days you work; you keep every dollar your clients pay you. The rent is debited weekly from your nominated payment method, so there are no surprise end-of-month invoices.
Each chair comes with everything a fully-fitted salon provides: styling station, back-wash basin access, towels, and a shared reception area. You bring your own tools, products, and client list. Your booking page is hosted on ChairShare so clients can self-book 24/7 — no third-party booking app required.
Payouts & payments
Client payments flow through Stripe. When a client pays for an appointment, the funds land in your connected Stripe account. Standard Stripe payout timing applies — typically two business days for Australian bank accounts. There is no additional ChairShare processing fee on client payments.
Your chair rent is collected separately on a weekly basis from your nominated debit or credit card. You can update your payment method at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. If a payment fails, we’ll notify you by email and retry after 48 hours before escalating.
Cancellations
Client appointment cancellations are governed by the cancellation policy you set on your profile. You can choose from no-cancellation, 24-hour notice, or 48-hour notice windows. When a client cancels inside the window, the fee (if any) is automatically collected via Stripe and paid out to you.
To cancel your own chair lease, give 30 days’ notice in writing by emailing thien@aidaptive.com.au. Your account remains active and your booking page continues to accept appointments until the end of the notice period.
